Some Love For American Idol
I have to admit, I am not a loyal American Idol fan. In years past, I've tuned in to the last few shows to see what the next hot talent rolling out of Hollywood. But to be honest, it's just not a show that has been able to keep my attention in years past. I don't know why, I just couldn't get into it (call off the dog Idol Fanatics, I have nothing against the show or you).
Last night, I stumbled upon the show while trying to avoid ABC (I was recording Lost on the DVR so Sweet-D and I could watch it together). I witnessed a performance that just might make me watch American Idol more often.

He did real good this week...but the last couple of weeks he was horrible I was almost mad last week they didnt vote him off. I am glad they didnt though because he did do great last night. I love crystal!!! I am also a big fan of mike too!!!

This is the first time I've seen the guy. He took a very poppy dance song and made it his own. I love the musician in him, not just the singer, but the whole package. Crystal blew me away too. I love that they are letting musicians on who can be themselves, before it was just singing and it seemed to much like they were being fit into a mold. We'll see what happens this year.

Ivy, I too have not followed American Idol since the days of Clay Aiken, but I am following this one, and boy is there talent! Actually, I didn't see the big deal in Andrew's performance last night, obviously, the judges did, though - and you. My favorites are Crystal Bowersox and Casey James. I think they will be the top two.
