Christmas This Year

How is everyone's Christmas? I had a very relaxing Christmas this year. This year, many of my friends are out of town and I just stayed in town. It was a good break because my husband got to relax a bit and took 2 days off! Taking days off is almost unheard of these days and I guess that makes us cherish our time together even more:) We didn't do much but had hot pot dinner on Christmas Eve and watched the movie Avatar on Christmas Day. Life as a couple is very enjoyable and with both of our busy schedules, I started to cherish more of our time together. It is especially fulfilling when we talk about our future as a family and where we see things going. Christmas to me is all about spending time with my husband and family. It is less about exchanging gifts and big parties...
Today, boxing day, I did spend some time roaming in the mall trying to get some good deals but no luck. I think though it is just enjoyable to feel the holiday spirit and join the crowd. Overall, I thought I had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas. What about you? Hope you all had a nice break!
