About the swapmeet, they have a few throughout the county but the one in Point Loma is the one I attend and have found the best savings. Sundays is the best time to go. It's like a fleetmarket only that it's cheaper. It's at the San Diego Sports Arena parking lot, parking is free and you pay a dollar per adult, I believe kids 11 & under are free. The name of it is Kobey's Swap Meet.

I use an Access Saver card I offer for dining & outtings (aka movies) we get the tickes for less than $8. There are also other savers. You can take a look at this site for a calculator for an example of... Aside from that, I don't know where you guys live but here in San Diego I go to a local swapmeet where I get produce for a bargain price, among other items.

I think there are so many things which can be reused or given to people in need this way. When our group grows to a certain size. I think starting something like this would be for a great cause!
