Dear all ladies,

I just want to let you all know that I am now three months into my pregnancy!  I am getting both excited and anxious being about the whole experience!  It is exciting for sure because this is my first pregnancy and it is a gift from God!  I am anxious on the other hand because there are so many unknowns!!:)

I am reading this book now on setting up a nursery at home.  I haven't done much shopping yet for baby supplies but wonder what is the list of essential items I should get?  If I get everything recommended by the book, it will be quite expensive overall.

Thanks for all your support and let me know your suggestions!

Hi girls,
I can't believe it but I am already into the 16th week of my pregnancy! Time flies and I am realizing that I should enjoy every moment of this experience:). For the first three months, there were some tough days when I felt really nauseous and had seriously bad headaches. Now I am into my second trimester, things seem to get a little better. I started to gain more energy and I feel generally better overall. One thing about second trimester is that my tummy is growing bigger more quickly! This is pretty amazing stuff:) It is almost like I see a bigger tummy everyday:) Overall, I feel very excited and a little bit nervous at the same time. For those of you who are moms, how was your experience during pregnancy? It would be fun if we could share our experiences:)!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! That is so awesome! I will tell you, it's not as hard as people think to set up a nursery, and you can certainly get more things as you learn what your baby needs. Most hospitals send a ton of stuff home with you (diapers, formula or nursing essentials, etc.)

Are you having a baby shower? That is where you will get a lot of what you need!

SO EXCITED!!! Praying for you and that little bundle of joy! Enjoy the ride, even though it's exhausting. You will look back and miss being pregnant one day.

Lots of love!

Thanks Ivy! I am getting more and more anxious and also excited about upcoming parenthood:) All my friends say that it is totally worth it and I can't wait for that day to start:) I agree with what you are saying, I should cherish this time when I am pregnant, everyday is different and each day the baby grows more and more!:)

Also, I am having a baby shower so will probably get some stuff there. How are things going with you and your family?

Hi all mommies!
I am now going into my 19th week of pregnancy and my tummy is growing pretty big! One of my friends is farther along than me and her tummy is not as big as mine. I wonder if I am gaining too much weight or is this normal? What was your experience around this time of the pregnancy?

Joanna
Hi Joanna,

What book are you reading? there are so many out there. Your best bet is to do just what you are doing and get advice from other moms. I found that you don't have to worry about the nursery right away, it's usually a while until the baby needs "her" own room. First thing you will definitely need is a car seat, so you can take your little bundle home. I actually work for Graco on the Walmart team so i'm around a lot of baby gear. We feature many posts on what to look for in baby gear on our blog http://blog.gracobaby.com. Stop in and browse. Leave a comment if you like us. You can also get a good education on our website gracobaby.com. Stay well and enjoy the ride!
Hi Donna,
Thanks for the info! I am reading some books written by OB doctors about what goes on each week of the pregnancy. There are also tons of information online. Although the information there may sometimes be incorrect. Luckily, I do have a few friends and you all here who are already moms so at least I have someone to talk to about their experiences.
I haven't started shopping yet but I will definitely review your site for more info.

Hi everyone!

Time really flies!  I cannot believe that I am already on my third trimester!  I am due April 6th and it is now less than 2 months away.  It has been a wonderful experience so far and pregnancy definitely feels very different from anything else I can imagine.  The first time I felt my baby moving inside me, the first time I shopped for baby stuff, the first time I took a picture of my growing belly and the first time I saw the ultrasound photo of my baby, are all so wonderful and unforgettable!  Now I realize how special it is to be a mom and to be bonded to the little life inside me.

At this time, I am just cherishing the every moment of my pregnancy and enjoying the moment!

Just want to share this with you all!  I will check back in a little bit and keep you all posted:)
