If you have suffered a loss would you be willing to share?

If you have suffered a loss would you be willing to share?

Everyone reacts differently to loss and to different obstacles in our life. Would you be willing to share your story, to help heal others as well as your self. My theory is with loss, people can accept the person being gone much easier then they can

I am having a tough time this holiday. I lost a son in March. David was the baby of the boy ,he was 22 .I lost my oldest son in Oct.2004 ,Dan was 27. I never expected they would ever be taken from me .I lost my Mom in Aug so this holiday is without 3 of my family . I do have 2 more children so I am going through the motions . I am just not in the Christmas spirit.
Maybe if I put up my tree I will feel differently.
Its just so hard

Hi Junie,
Thanks for sharing with us about your grandma. It is definitely hard to lose someone you love. My grandma passed away a few years ago and she was that only one who took care of me when I was little. My parents were too busy at that time. It was hard to see her go. I was glad though that I got to see her one last time in Hong Kong. Her passing away though reminded me that I should love my family and those who are still alive. It reminded me that I should cherish the moments and my family when I still can.
Hope that you feel better. We are always here to listen.

continued from above----- accept that what they stood for and who they were (their purpose, meaning and story) is gone forever. It is so hard to part with their history. These two different sites allow you so many options on how you can relate to those who have walked the walk before us, how you can re create their story and elaborate on the purpose of their life. You can create a memory page, a memorial, a group in their name, a blog, a forum or just simply submit your story. It is so theraputic healing and comforting. It is the healing through sharing site. WE are yourn friends and are here for you. For any of life's adversities! There is a group for just about every situation!!! Simply submit your story to www.griefworthy.com For the interactive website www.griefworthy.ning.com Looking forward to your story and seeing you there!
