Virtual Walk...Thursday July 16th. Mine will be 30 minutes. Then 30 push-ups (in sets of 10), 30 crunches and bathtub dips (x15)

I know that I need the motivation of having goals, and my daily goal is that I can report back to the group that I have done something I set out to do. It is not easy for me to get to a gym right now, but I know that there are lots of creative ways to get moving.

Hold me to it...will you?

Joanna...I am ashamed that I totally fell off the wagon for a few months. I have been active...if you consider shoveling and scaping ice active, boot hockey and walking on a treadmill. I would like to get back into a more regular workout routine, and maybe if I get back to actually holding myself accountable, I'll do it. I found great support from this group when my husband was so incredibly busy with his seasonal job last summer, and now that we have been in his off-season for a while, I have soaked up time with him, but I have let other things go. I hope to be more regularly involved with this network and on other places on the site.

Workout tomorrow: Early morning lifting 40 minutes, 20 minutes cardio. I hope to report back a good start.

Okay, just an update, I have gone to the gym last night doing 40 minutes of running on the treadmill. I thought that the gym will be pretty empty due to the holidays but surprisingly found that it is still quite packed with people. There are plenty of people who are very determined and persistent in their exercising routines. This is one of the reasons why I like going to the gym or join exercise classes because it is much more fun to do exercise with other people who have the same goal!
