Any Good Vacuum Cleaner to Recommend?
Hi ladies,
I am looking for a good vacuum cleaner that can actually clean well on carpet and is not too noisy. I have been using Dirt Devil but I haven't had too much luck with it. At this point, after vacuuming, I see almost the same hair/dirt as before!
My friend told me one brand called Dyson, has anybody tried that?
Any recommendations?

Just to add, is it just me or in general, do you experience smelling more dirt in the air when you vacuum? I do for sure and it almost seems like the vacuum cleaner is just raising all the dirt up to the air!

Hi Joanna - I have used Hoover's Self-propelled Windtunnel model for years. I have the bagless, and my mom has the one with a bag. Both do an exceptional job - SUPER SUCTION! You won't have any dirt smell, either. Both have HEPA filters. I haven't used the Dyson - too expensive for me, but I've heard they are really good. I've been really happy with my Hoover, though.
