Unscripted Break

Just wanted to let everyone know I have not disappeared. I'm sure you've noticed the lack of activity on the blog and here. Well, Friday evening we had a true WTF moment at the Unscripted household when the kitchen caught on fire. As a certified firefighter, I was confident that I would get the fire under control. First the fire extinguisher failed, and as reached for a big towel to smother the blaze (all of this took less than a minute) I looked up and saw the ceiling was on fire.

Needless to say, I had to call the fire department (the truck is too big to fit in the house).

Everyone is okay, but we have quite a mess to clean up.

We've been staying at my inlaws while we clean up the mess, she only has dial up internet so you can imagine what a pain that is. It actually took 20 minutes for this site to load up.

I'll hopefully get a moment to post the whole event tonight.
