This is a nice opportunity for newbie writers. I just sold an essay to Girlfriend 2 Girlfriend magazine and they sent me an e-mail which stated the following:
"We are seeking to recruit more contributers for our online magazines, Girlfriend 2 Girlfriend and Simple Joy."

Aww, I'm sorry they didn't respond, Meagan. I hate that! I would have thought if they were so anxious for new writers they wouldn't have been so inundated they couldn't respond. But such is the life of a writer I guess, eh? I get ignored way more often than I get an actual rejection letter. But I think of Dory from Finding Nemo: Just keep writing (swimming), just keep writing, just keep writing, writing, writing..."
