Drop-side Cribs Outlawed

Hi all,

Just want to make sure you all know that drop side cribs are now being outlawed as they poses great risks to infants.  The drop side can loosen, creating a gap between the mattress and the rails.  This provides a space where infants can be strangled or trapped in the gap.  Please be sure not to buy this type of crib (if still available), or make sure yours have no such gap if you already have one at home.
